Düsseldorf is the unsung shopping capital of Germany. The legendary Kö, the Königsallee, draws fashion-conscious people from all over the world. All the famous designers have branches on this boulevard, flanked by luxury jewellers, parfumiers, fine china and antique shops.
In the glittering labyrinth of arcades and shopping malls you can spend hours looking, admiring, buying – and losing track, because the choice is so amazingly varied.
As your local guide, I can help you to keep things in perspective. On the Kö as well as in the Schadowstrasse, Germany's busiest shopping street, or in the Old Town with its out-of-the-way avant-garde boutiques. Düsseldorf is a wonderful place to shop – when you know where to go.
